With Beatport Insider, we look at key stats from the Beatport store each month. This time, we look at the artists, tracks, and labels that dominated our Melodic House & Techno, Organic House / Downtempo, and Progressive House genre sales and streaming charts over the past six months.
The Finnish dance floor phenomenon Yotto takes home the prize for the number one best-selling track in our Melodic H&T, Progressive House, and Organic House sections with his stunning rework of Corona’s classic “Rhythm (Of The Night)” on Armada Music. This is followed close behind by Tale Of Us member Anyma‘s collaboration with Camelphat, “The Sign” — a release which (on top of others) has made Anyma the best-selling artist of three of these respective genres.
On the label front, the A’s have it, with Afterlife Records topping the list for most sold and streamed tracks, followed by Anjunadeep, Armada Music, and Anjunabeats.
UK maven Made By Pete has shown a massive jump in numbers as our top-trending electronic act in the realm of melodic and organic house music, followed by our previously featured Artist of the Month Pretty Pink and Anjuna’s very own Jody Barr.
