Beatport, Loopcloud, and LabelRadar team up with NYC house music icon Louie Vega for a massive Nervous Records Producer Challenge.
With a storied, three-decade history of releasing some of the world’s most beloved dance floor tunes, Nervous Records is unquestionably one of house music’s most influential record labels. Having teamed up with The Beatport Group’s latest Global Producer Challenge, Nervous Records is giving producers a chance to join its iconic catalog by remixing one of the imprint’s shining stars, Louie Vega.
By putting your unique spin on his track “How He Works,” you’ll be entered into the running to win a tremendous studio prize package worth over $9,500 that includes a Moog Minitaur, Audeze MM-100 headphones, and other high-end hardware and software, along with Nervous Records gear & records signed by Louie Vega, and last but not least, an official release on his “How He Works” remix EP (subject to label approval).
Beatport’s Global Remix Challenge begins on Tuesday, May 2nd. Participants can visit the Loopcloud landing page to download free stems and additional Loopcloud samples.
Participants must use at least one of Loopcloud’s 4 million+ samples in their remix. Those without an existing Loopcloud subscription can use Loopcloud’s free 14-day trial + 1-month free coupon.

Submission Deadline: All Global Remix Challenge participants must submit their remix to LabelRadar by Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:59 PT.
Nervous Records will judge the remixes, and the winners will be announced across Beatport’s social channels sometime towards the end of June.
In addition to the grand prize winner, two runners-up will receive prize bundles that include software from Moog, Image Line, XLN Audio, Sonible, Gforce, and more. All prize winners will receive a 12-month subscription to both Beatport Streaming and Loopcloud Studio.
