Moscoman Delivers his ‘Rob The Plants’ EP on Disco Halal

Israeli DJ/producer and Disco Halal label founder Moscoman treats us to a fresh four-track EP.

Tel Aviv’s Chen Moscovici, better known as Moscoman, returns to his prized Disco Halal imprint with a new and sweltering EP, Rob The Plants.

A leader in the ever-evolving sound of Indie Dance and Dark Disco, Moscoman’s latest offerings brings forth his desert-inspired aesthetic, kaleidoscopic synth work, and stripped-back arrangements in fresh, familiar, and unexpected ways. From the hypnotic murmurs of “Bouabre” to the whirling atmospherics of the title track, “Rob The Plants,” and the ’60s era West Coast pop rock inspiration of “Can You Dig It,” which samples The Monkee’s classic song of the same name, it’s a true-to-form psychedelic package of tunes that bring a dance floor vibe all their own. Listen below.

Rob The Plants is a sonic journey through some charted, and also uncharted territories,” Moscoman explains. “By going to the edge of the sound ranges of my production, I think I managed to find my centre.”
