“Breathe and stop, for real and give it what you got!” In terms of iconic records, their are few higher in the echelon than “Breathe And Stop” by Q-Tip, first released all the way back in 1999. So when the man himself signed off on a new take on the 90s rap classic, MK and Australian producer Dom Dolla knew that they were about to unleash one of the biggest house bangers of the year: not only is it shamelessly hooky, it is as much an homage to classic hip hop as it is a house record for the musical months ahead.

Previously a cheeky bootleg that blew up online and on the road when road-tested at all the biggest global gatherings, the MK and Dom Dolla version is now the definitive version available on Beatport. Marc Kinchen said: “It started out as something fun just to play in our sets, then we got bullied by the public to release it.  So here it is, enjoy!” Adds Dom: “Getting the nod from Q-Tip himself is something I’m very grateful for. As a combination, this rude tune has a very special place in my heart.”
