Beatport Insider November 2022:
Top-Selling Bass / Club Tracks, Artists, and Labels

With Beatport Insider, we look at key stats from the Beatport store each month. This time, we look at the artists, tracks, and labels that dominated our Bass/Club genre sales and streaming charts over the past six months.

Riding his meteoric rise to becoming one of dance music’s most sought-after artists worldwide, the fabulous Fred again.. comes in as our number one best-selling club/bass artist, with his massive tune “Jungle” also topping the chart. He is followed by his close associate (and a legend in his own right) KH (aka Four Tet), who takes the number two slot of best-selling bass/club act, with his track “Looking At Your Pager” also securing the number two position of the genre’s best-selling tracks.

DJ ADHD, who has had a hell of a year with releases alongside Beatport Next artist Nikki Nair and Pretty Weird Recordings label head Chloé Robbinson, comes in as the third best-selling club/bass act on the site, with Robbinson’s burgeoning record label following suite after Atlantic Recordings (UK) and Ministry of Sound.

And having debuted her first-ever release on her label this year alongside DJ ADHD, Chloe Robbinson has also locked down the genre’s “top trending artist” accolade for 2023.

With other strong showings from Pearson Sound, DJ Swisha, Joy Orbison, Overmono, Two Shell, Effy, and more, it’s been a groundbreaking year for the leftfield musings of the club and bass scene’s best and brightest. Check out more key Beatport stats below!
