Charlotte de Witte Drops her Tenacious ‘Apollo’ EP on KNTXT

The Belgian techno superstar drops a fresh four-track package ahead of ADE 2022.

Charlotte de Witte has just released a brand new EP on her KNTXT label, led by the six-minute-long acidic peak-time title track, “Apollo.”

The four-track Apollo EP is the techno star’s first new music on her own label since April’s Universal Consciousness, which was preceded by her October 2021 Asura EP. In addition to the record’s title track, “Missing Channel” and “Mercury,” see the artist employing her knack for blistering and high-energy dance floor bombs, while the experimental closing track, “PPC,” samples space transmissions with shimmer euphoria. Listen below!

Charlotte says about the EP’s last track: “The vastness and solitude of space always interested me. A compelling contrast between monumental power and the vacuum in between. This diversion can also be found in techno music, a pure simplicity divergent in power.”

Back in May, de Witte launched an archival offshoot of KNTXT, to highlight Belgium’s clubbing history and next week she is set to take over the Ziggo Dome on Friday, October 21st during ADE.

Charlotte De Witte’s new Apollo EP is out now via KNTXT. Buy it on Beatport.
