The pair’s four-track Steamin EP arrives later this year via Robinson’s label, Pretty Weird Records.
The hotly-tipped UK DJ Chloé Robinson teams up with DJ ADHD and dives headfirst into the world of music production with her debut single “Steamin” — out now via Pretty Weird Records imprint.
Formally known as Barely Legal, Robinson first made a name for herself as a top-tier purveyor of UKG, bass, grime, and dubstep, regularly performing at The Warehouse Project and gaining support from heavyweights across the underground spectrum. With 10-plus years of experience behind the decks, the choice to switch aliases marked the artist’s evolution into performing more techno and house oriented sets. Regardless, Chloé Robinson has never been one to shy away from twisted club bombs of all shapes, sizes, and sounds, as seen through the curation of her intrepid Pretty Weird Records imprint.
Produced alongside rising US act and Pretty Weird label regular DJ ADHD, Robinson’s first single, “Steamin,” is a viscid and high voltage dance floor missile with brutish kicks and robust vocal hits that combine with a raucous demeanor. Listen below.
The track is the first taste of what’s to come from Chloé Robinson and DJ ADHD four-track Steamin EP that will arrive later this year — complete with a title-track remix from the indomitable Kieran Hebden (aka Four Tet).
