Beatport has teamed up with dance music icon Pete Tong to announce the launch of the brand-new education initiative, the Pete Tong DJ Academy.

This online DJ school brings together some of dance music’s biggest names — including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber, TSHA, The RELOUD, and of course, Pete Tong himself — to educate DJs on some of the artform’s most essential tips and practices.

From the most basic technical aspects of DJing to some of its best-kept secrets, this video-on-demand service brings the best in the business directly into your home to give you all the tools you need to excel behind the decks with over 90 lessons that cover every aspect of a career DJing.

As an official partner of the Pete Tong DJ Academy, the course will also include in-depth instructions on how to master our DJ streaming service, Beatport Streaming. Signing up will also give you free access and lessons on using the Beatport DJ app, so you can start immediately even if you don’t have a console yet.
