The 7 Best Tech House Tracks On Beatport You May Have Missed

Our expert curation team brings you the best tracks on Beatport you may have missed. This time featuring Ben Sterling, Proudly People, Fleur Shore, Harry Romero and more.

Ben Sterling – Armandos Groove (Original Mix) [PlanetX]

Ben Sterling launches his Planet X imprint with the so-called Planet X Remastered EP, featuring five Tech House cuts. Very hard to pick from these five high-class productions, but I have to say “Armando’s Groove” is my favorite. The track utilizes swirling low ends amongst warped rhythms and is highlighted with forward pushing vocal shots. With a very minimalistic approach, this track is a surefire hands-in-the-air banger.

Antonio Grassia – Thursday (Proudly People Remix) [NoZzo Music]

Our next track comes from Kenpo Records frontman Antonio Grassia which makes his NoZzo Music debut with two blistering Tech House heaters supported by a Proudly People remix on the A-side of the Thursday EP. As always, the Italian-based duo Proudly People delivers a punchy remix of “Thursday” that catches everyone right from the start. Chugging grooves and sizzling hat sequences rebound off layers of instrumental constructions, carving out a punchy and movement-invoking peak time cut with limitless energy. Forza l’amicos!

Connor-S – Phantasy (Original Mix) [Snatch! Records]

The 23-year-old UK-based house DJ/producer Connor-S most certainly is one of the up-and-coming tech house talents from Southwest. With releases on CUFF, THUNDR and Club Sweat, Connor has worked his way to Riva Starr’s world-renowned imprint. Many more high-quality signings to come. My favorite track of his Snatch! OFF 066 EP is “Phantasy.” I could write a lot about the way it’s produced but instead just want to invite you to listen to this damn sexy dancefloor stomper. Pow!

Fleur Shore – One Two Three Four (Original Mix) [Cuttin’ Headz]

Refusing to conform to the norm and never following the formulas that work for others… please meet Birmingham’s rising star Fleur Shore. Fleur’s productions are infectious! Driving basslines, captivating vocals and rhythmic hi-hats are spreading positive energy around the globe. Her demos were picked up by The Martinez Brothers and signed to their Cuttin’ Headz imprint, resulting in the No Hoes EP. “One Two Three Four” pumps on a nice rubbery kick drum, with icy hi-hats and seductive sub-bass demanding you to dance. We can’t wait for her next release!

Cosmin Horatiu, Tomi & Kesh – Out Of The Blue (Extended Mix) [Kaluki Musik]

German Stuttgart-based duo Tomi & Kesh are teaming up with Romanian DJ/producer Cosmin Horatiu to deliver their Heavy Hitter EP on Pirate Copy’s Kaluki Musik. Closing out this beautiful release is “Out Of The Blue.” This track infuses raw drums, hip-swinging rhythms, pulsating basslines and modulating percussion, bringing the energy straight to the dancefloor. Why is this not in your NYE playlist yet?

Alinka – Who Am I (Harry Romero Remix) [Bambossa Records]

Berlin-based artist Alinka delivers the Who Am I EP — out now via Bambossa Records. Originally a deep house cut, the title track gets remixed by Harry Romero himself. So the only words I’d like to write about this track is the following statement: tech house at its very finest!

Immature – Stories Of Da Hood (Original Mix) [likeminded]

Let’s wrap up this list with a nice and dirty warehouse belter. The Berlin-based likeminded label is extremely excited to have Immature returning to the imprint with his Faith In House EP. This release sees Immature flexing his production skills on two lean originals. Remixes on this release come from Detlef and Mendo, who require no introductions. “Stories Of Da Hood” — my pick off this top release — delivers a filthy warehouse beat full of tension and punch that drives the track forward, creating dense energy. With a naughty groove and housy vocals, along with an intelligent and unexpected rhythm that shines throughout the arrangement, this track is a weapon!
