The collaborative two-tracker arrives ahead of Phase’s highly-anticipated debut album.
Once referred to as “the future of Metalheadz” by Goldie, Belgian DJ/producer Phase continually lives up to Goldie’s prophecy. Case in point: the wild new two-tracker Call In Me, produced in collaboration with Grey Code.
On Instagram, Phase expressed his excitement about the EP drop, stating that “after four years of rinsing this as a dub in nearly every set I’ve played, it’s finally getting a release.”
The title track, “Call In Me,” is a sweet and sour drum & bass exercise with a stammering breakdown and heaving walls of bass. On the flip side, Phase and Grey Code only get more mischievous with “Odyssey of Noises” — a lively banger with creeping lows and clattering percussion that melts underneath its own weight. Listen to the release below.
Call In Me arrives just ahead of Phase’s highly-anticipated debut album, which is expected to land via Metalheadz later this year.
Phase & Grey Code’s Call In Me is out now via Metalheadz.
