The lead track of the Outta My Head EP on Knee Deep In Sound is a statement and great example of Maxxine’s forward, driving and uplifting sound. A forward moving bassline, punchy kick, energetic hi hats and shakers accompanied by a simple yet powerful chord that progresses and builds up a lot of energy in the main breakdown. Not to forget to mention the very well placed female and male vocals that round up this track.

Carloh once again delivers a very enjoyable dancefloor sound on Javi Bora’s imprint Too Many Rules with his amazing So Good EP.
“New School, Old School” closes the release and straight forward is a bomb! The track to me is a perfect hybrid of forward thinking new school Tech House that uses old school nineties chords and synth as a harmonic element and keeps things classy. Peak time alert.
Steve Darko, Nik Thrine – Droids (Original Mix) [DIRTYBIRD]
Just months after the release of his lauded LP debut on DIRTYBIRD, label favorite Steve Darko returns alongside Nik Thrine for the two-tracker Small Things EP.
The release brims with the refreshing, off-kilter take on tech house that both producers have built their names around. The glitch motif in “Droids”, is a cerebral number that substitutes melody for a kaleidoscope of synth effects and drum layers that together create a futuristic atmosphere that perfectly fits to the sound the label is going for.
This tune fits into any situation of your set and is an absolute class allrounder.

An artist spotlighted by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac at the age of just 18, UK DJ and producer ADR has made a quick start to his young yet blossoming career. With releases and remixes dropping via labels such as elrow and Cr2, gaining support from Jamie Jones, Richy Ahmed, Mark Knight and VIVa boss Steve Lawler, the rising talent now makes his VIVa MUSiC debut as he drops his debut Back To Dance EP accompanied by Maxine Scott.
“A Place To Stay” is the closing track of the release and could easily be a-side as well. The swirling leads and rubbery, acid-tinged basslines form this song in a dreamy yet driving dance floor secret weapon that deserves to be recognized all around the globe.
