The venue, which shuttered last June for the first time since 1989, will be relaunching as Le Cocorico Riccione (AKA Cocco) in April.
The storied club Cocoricò, which was first established 30 years ago in Italy’s northern coastal city of Rimini, will open its doors to the public once again this April.
Back in June of 2019, the club was forced to shut down and declare bankruptcy after it was revealed that its owners owed €800,000 in unpaid taxes. With its grand pyramid glass roof, the venue was one of the most famous techno destinations in all of Europe and has hosted everyone from Carl Cox, Green Velvet, and Adam Beyer to Len Faki, Nina Kraviz, and Dubfire.
Months after its initial closure, the club has rebranded with the new name Le Cocorico Riccione and will return to the scene on April 12 for its relaunch party; Everybody Calls Me Cocco. The lineup for this highly anticipated event will drop on March 15, and you can purchase your tickets here.
