INEFFEKT
Dance music fans are in for a treat this August as emerging talent Ineffekt releases his latest EP High Hopes on Intercept Records. The first single, “Silver Lining” is a bass and break-filled genre-transcender, showcasing the young producer’s unique ability to turn the club inside out. It went off at Netherlands’ Best Kept Secret festival last month, when he debuted the track to a 3000-cap tent, and Peggy Gou clearly agrees – she asked Ineffekt to join her DGTL x Gou Talk showcase at ADE this October. Ineffekt approaches music production as sound design, weaving silky vocals, ethereal melodies and rhythmic breaks to create a colourful listening experience. And at just 21 years old, there’s huge things to come from this exciting producer.
MONA YIM
This Leo season, Mona Yim and Memphis LK teamed up to release “Thinkin of U” on Ninja Tune’s ‘Technicolour’ imprint. It’s a hyper-pop extravaganza jam-packed with bright vocals and gleaming melodies. Mona Yim’s star has been steadily on the rise receiving The London Roundhouse’s ‘Rising Sounds’ scholarship, remixing DJ Seinfeld and Glass Animals in 2022, and winning ‘Female Producer Of the Year – Germany’ in 2023. Invites to join Hot Chip at Warehouse Project (Manchester), Ben Böhmer at O2 Academy Brixton and UFO in Velodrome (Berlin), and Solomun at The Mission (Bucharest) show she’s come a long way in a short time. This year she’s playing the UK’s Junction 2, Lost Village and Connect Festival as well as a debut tour of India. With a lot more production gold up her sleeve, she shows no signs of slowing down.

This DJ and producer duo met in their hometown of Aberdeen, where they bonded over a shared love for lo-fi house. They started DJing and producing to make their own stamp on the genre, and soon held a residency at Glasgow’s Sub Club. Since then they’ve developed a unique production style, combining deep house with trance, breaks, minimal and any other genre that takes their fancy. They’ve released on Patrick Topping’s Trick imprint, as well as Positiva, EMI, Shall Not Fade and Gorgon City’s Realm. Their latest single, “U,” out on Stress Records, is a dance floor destroyer, combining old-school house rhythms with heavy kicks, timeless melodies and euphoric drops, and follows a killer Boiler Room set and a huge release on Armada Music. There’s no stopping the Celtic House Movement.
STORM MOLLISON
Run the bath, you’re gonna need a good clean after listening to Storm Mollison’s filthy new EP Dirty Dance on Hot Haus Recs. The title track’s as sleazy as it sounds and an instant summer anthem with catchy vocals, rolling breaks, acidic baselines and a shit ton of attitude. “Float” harnesses a laid-back house vibe, oozing confidence and charisma in equal measure, and setting the tone for what to expect from the artist. The EP follows a remix of Charlotte Plank’s “Lost Boys,” which combines the vibrancy of pop with the energy of club music, and it’s not just her production skills making waves – she’s a sick-ass selector, and already tore up Fabric, La Cheetah and Glastonbury this year.
ARODES
Since his first release on Hurry Up Slowly in 2021, Arodes has made a name for himself in Afro House, Melodic House and Indie Dance, with releases on Sony, Universal, Days Like Nights, and many more. After a successful debut show at Hï Ibiza supporting Fisher this summer, he’s releasing his latest EP Lunar on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue imprint. It’s a journey through melodic house and rhythmic electronica, showcasing the artist’s Spanish heritage and nodding to his diverse range of early influences, from reggae to trance to classic rock. The EP follows his single “Waves” on Moblack Records which got entire festivals talking. But when it comes to music, Arodes has one aim: to connect. Whether in Tulum, Ibiza, LA or Amsterdam, Arodes music will hit you right in the heart.
P-RALLEL
The sound of DJ and producer P-Rallel is synonymous with the big smoke. If you need proof, listen to his seminal Boiler Room performance in London this summer, or his gun finger productions on labels such as Different, Black Butter and Yligaa. His tracks feature London mainstays Louis Culture and Lord Apex, and he captures London’s roots with dancehall and raggae undertones. All this and more is encapsulated within his latest single “I Know“. It’s a deep house tune with grooving bass and textured vocals that bottles up summer in a song. He’s been keeping busy with performances at Glastonbury, Forbidden Fruit and Love Saves the Day, but if you want to catch P-Rallel in action you’re just in time for Boardmasters in Cornwall and Boundary Festival in Brighton.
